Follow those simple rules and get one step closer to achieving your fitness goals!
1. Clean shoes are a must
Entering the gym with the shoes you wandered around town with can be disrespectful towards both other members and our gym staff.
2. Ask first
If someone is standing close to a machine or equipment and you need it, ask if you can work on/with it.
3. Personal space: respect it
It’s polite to give other gym members as much space as you can. In case you need to be close, keep your eyes on your equipment, not the score of your neighbor.
4. Keep the right tone
We know the gym can be a great place to meet new people, but it should also be a safe space to work out, not a place where other people worry about being disturbed.
5. Avoid talking on the phone
If you’re waiting for an important call, take it in the locker room or near our reception. Using the phone for anything other than music can be unpleasant for other gym members.
6. Use headphones
Speaking of headphones: use them at all times while you’re listening to music or watching a video during a workout.
7. Don’t be late for group workouts
It’s better to skip the class if you’re running more than 10 minutes late and you might disrupt the group dynamics, or at least try to sneak in the back as quietly as possible.
8. Clean up after yourself
Ensure you clean up immediately if you spill your water or protein shake so no one slips and falls.
9. Put the equipment back
Once you are done with your workout, stack the weights or return the yoga mats to where you got them.
